So, my outfit choice ended up being denim on denim. I have worn this trend before (seen here) and I absolutely love it! The sandals, accessories and purse were a perfect touch for this casual outfit.

You are right denim on denim works well especially when they are different shades. The purse is a great pop of color and goes well with the shoes. Rolled up jeans is so in! Excellent outfit!
