FBF: Diddy & J. Alba

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!! We made it through another week---amen!! ;-) Today's FBF features Diddy & Jessica Alba. Both looks, I love. I decided to pick Diddy because he is always so fresh and fly when he hits a red carpet. I tried to do the female version of his look. What do you think? Would Diddy approve...LOL.

I always love Jessica Alba's casual looks so, here is yet another one. She looks great in her colorful blazer and skinny's. This was a simple look and something that I would definitely wear. Side note: Ever since Jessica has become a mother, her style has really evolved. Dontcha think?

The (forgotten) Printed Love

Hey there!! I actually forgot to post this look a while ago. But I figured, better late that never ;-) This outfit has to be one of my FAVES! How many times have I said that on my blog???? LOL I just love this dress to pieces. So much so that I have 2 more different patterns! I've already shared with you that when I see something I like, I get them in every color/print. This dress is no different ;-) It's super comfy and can be worn so many ways. Here, I decided to wear it with my Aldo sandals, which were a gift from my friend Kamille. She gave me a giftcard last year for my birthday and I bought these shoes and another pair. I actually did a post on them...see it HERE! 

When I wore this, the weather in was in the low to mid 70 degree range so it was a perfect look. Have you ever forgotten to post an outfit? LOL...take care and enjoy the pics! And don't forget FBF (Facebook Friday) tomorrow!! Be blessed!

Facebook Friday: Gabby Yellow & the Weekender

Here's to another FBF (Facebook Friday)! This week, I fell in love with my Friday look of the day (seen HERE), Gabrielle Union. She is a pro when it comes to simple and sexy looks. I saw her in this yellow, flowy dress and knew I had to recreate something similar. Good 'ol Polyvore allowed me to play around with color so I added some turquoise accents; LOVE it!! I found a yellow dress while thrifting a while ago and this has give me some great ideas ;-) 

I also created a weekend look as well. I am going to a (Wizards) basketball game this weekend with my babe and thought it'd be fun to create a casual, weekend look. While I don't have the red jeans (yet), I do have some leopard print sandals, a denim shirt and some sneakers. Maybe I will try and style my look as I did here.

Bare Legs

Hello there!! Before I go any further, I want to thank my new followers and say HELLO!!! I am so happy and pleased that you've decided to follow little 'ol me. XXOO!!!

As I type this post, I can't help but smile and think about how wonderful the weather was today. It was so nice, I decided to wear my little legs out!! This is how I know it is officially Spring...well, in my mind anyway, LOL. Scanning my closet this morning, I picked out the Old Navy dress. It was perfect; the material is so light and the length is work appropriate. I paired it with my favorite black and gold studded flats, and some vintage/thrifted jewelery. When I went out later, I added a pop of red and wore my red pumps. Simple, and classic!

Spring Forward

Is anyone else ready for Spring??? Here in MD, the weather has been playing with my emotions. One day, its 45 degrees and rainy then the next its a beautiful 62 degrees. Can we just have some nice, consistent, Spring-like weather...please??? LOL

I have been using Polyvore, Pintrest, and my magazine cutouts preparing my Spring wardrobe. I really want to be relaxed and cute, as far as my wardrobe goes this Spring. And I also plan to play with some colors like purple, orange (my fav), white, greens and blues. I've always been a huge fan of sneakers (Converse, Puma, Adidas, etc.) so I plan to incorporate them into my outfits as much as I can. On the work front, I'm thinking florals, maxi skirts, blouses and of course blazers :-) I will always be a huge fan of flats and sandals (when the weather permits), however I want to continue to wear (comfy) heels.

Happy weekend everyone!! Hope you all enjoy this lovely weather. I am so glad its the weekend. My week was extra long and stressful. Thankful to unwind and have good fun with family & friends.

Springtime Blues

So, I haven't been posting many of my own fashions this week because the semester is ending soon and I've been super busy with this group project. Also, I had oral surgery this morning so I was not feeling all that great as far as fashion is concerned :-/ This is why I decided to name this post, Springtime Blues. I am definitely blue right about now with a numb lip and swollen jaw, lol.

Anyway, I'll be back to posting my original looks this weekend. I have a few events to go to so my inspiration will be back :-)
