Day 26: A photo of somewhere I've Been
Rhodes, Greece - the best shopping and the bluest water I've ever seen...

Day 27: Pic of myself last year & How I've grown
This picture is actually one of my favs. Last year, I was in a place of uncertainty; I was all over the place. I was unsure of how I was going to put my dreams and goals into action, I was unsure of what I wanted to do as a career, as well as some other things. I've always known I was going to be successful, and I've always known that I was going to be great at whatever I did. I just needed direction. Thankfully and prayerfully, I've found my purpose, found my desired career path, and I am steadily headed in the right direction. I have a clear vision of what I want to do and what I need to do in order to accomplish my goals. I am more driven, more confident, and I've never been as happy as I am now. The best is yet to come, for sure...

Day 28: Fav Movie(s)
Ok, did you really think I was going to pick just one?? LOL. There are SOO many movies I can watch over and over, and I have shared some of them in my posts before. However, these are some I have recently watched. I can go word for word with every movie listed below, LOL!

 {Love Jones, Crooklyn, The Best Man, Sex & the City 2,  My Best Friends Wedding, and Houseguest}

Day 29: Something I Never get tired of Doing
I will never get tired of (1) spending time with my family, (2) my fiance', (3) my friends, and (4) meeting new people. Simply put, those are the things in life that keep me going and those are the things that make me happy. Family is always #1 & they keep me grounded, the love my fiance' and I share is constant, my friends keep me motivated, and meeting new people just warms my heart---good people in this world are hard to come by.

Day 30: Photo of me Today and 3 good things that happen to me in the past 30 Days

*i'm glowing, lol*

1. I got a bonus at work :-)
2. I spent time with friends
3. We're almost finished registering for our wedding gifts :-)

The Past Few Weeks...In Pictures

Happy Friday friends! I hope you all have had a successful week. If you are on the East Coast, I pray that you all stay safe tomorrow throughout the weekend, due to the predicted hurricane.

Lately, I have been super busy and a little all over the place. Trying to find my balance and a routine through all the madness. However, I have purchased some pretty great pieces and had a chance to travel and spend some time with family. So, this post is just a glimpse of my world lately, through pictures. The places are me just hanging out, my little sisters pageant, a few pics from our trip to ATL and purchase I made at Target.

With that said, be safe, be blessed and talk to you all soon!

Vacation Memories

So in my previous post, I mentioned that I traveled to  the Mediterrian with my family. We were away for 14 days and it was the most amazing trip I've been on, ever. I still cannot get some of the sites out of my head. I have been blessed to travel to different places, but none such as these (Greece, Egypt, Italy, Malta & Spain).
I learned something from each country and not to sound like Julia Roberts in Eat, Pray, Love, (lol) i wianted to share some memories with you.

In Spain, I learned to live. The city of Barcelona was lovely and i felt a spirit of freedom that made me want to just dance and enjoy LIFE.

In Italy, i learned how to eat and savor each bite!! Like the movie Eat, Pray Love, I ate the Italian cuisine and OMG…the food was just so rich and so GOOD! I didn’t worry about how much, or how many calories, lol…I just ate, I enjoyed every bit.

When in Greece, I was amazed by the Parthenon and the city of Athens; so much history. I think it Greece, I really learned how to take an experience and capture it. in my case, I captured the experience on film. I think some of my greatest photos were taken in both Athens and Rhodes, Greece.

In Malta, a country I wasn’t familiar with, I learned to explore. I saw some of the most beautiful churches ever built, I saw some of the most unique jewelry, and rode down the most quaint streets.

Last but not least, Egypt. To be in Africa was just amazing to begin with. But to touch the pyramids, to learn about the culture and the people, my people…was something I will NEVER forget. In Egypt, I learned to appreciate, I learned another side to myself I never knew was there. Our tour guide explained so much to us during or 2 day stay, and from her wealth of knowledge, I took soo much from it. I got in touch with my emotional side as I teared up when i first arrived to the pyramid and when I entered the catacombs. I felt proud when I heard her speak of Nefertiti, and I felt at home when I walked the streets and bought items from the local vendors. The people there were very poor, yet they welcomed me made me feel comfortable. I wasn’t scared to learn a bit of the language; it was just simply amazing.

With all that said, I plan to take a trip back to each country one day soon. I also want to share the experience with my family, as mine did with me (and my sister). I am forever grateful and I am so thankful for the memories and things learned….and pleased with the purchases I made ;-)

Enjoy the pictures :-)
