Hey everybody!! Happy Monday :-) As usual, I hope you all are doing well. This weekend was so much fun for me. I was able to hang with some of my bridesmaids on Saturday. We went to the bridal store Saturday morning and looked for dresses. All of my girls chose the perfect dress for them and I was so happy!! It was so easy...they're the most supportive and easy going bunch and I am so thankful for them! Then, a few of us branched off and headed thrifting. I took them to my spot, 2nd Avenue, and they came out with at least one bag; mission accomplished!! LOL. I found a few accessories and some things for the apartment. However, I didn't spend as much as I planned. My budget was $50 and I came just under $35 I believe. *pats self on the back*
Then Sunday afternoon, the family and I went to Ruth's Chris in celebration of my sister Taylor's recent accomplishment (see HERE). This was her first appearance out as a Princess ;-) and she of course was just as graceful and lady-like as ever. The food was AMAZING, as always, and the family and I had a good time! I am saving those pics to put in Taylor's scrapbook so I won't show them here. However, I may post them on my Facebook page.
I do want to show the outfit I wore to dinner. It was a complete spur of the moment look and I absolutely loved it! I've had this sweater for almost 6 months and promised myself I would wear it before the season changed. The pants, I thrifted from my neighborhood Goodwill recently and decided to give them their debut yesterday ;-) I paired them with a simple black t-shirt, my favorite pair of flats, and some thrifted jewelry. I wanted to do something funky with my earrings so I channeled the 80's and wore one sun earring and one star earring. I literally had a blast putting together this outfit. I call it the Mix Up because its a mix of pretty much everything! HAHAH!
Enjoy the pics and be blessed!
